Image taken on a night time photo shoot in the beautiful Joshua Tree National Park.
As an avid walker, I explored the wide open spaces of the Joshua Tree park and met a elderly man who advised me on local land boundaries. In the USA there are defined walking routes with little space for roaming off the pathway. The area is dotted with 'Tressassers will be shot signs'. In the UK we are fortunate to have the 'right to roam' and it is perfectly normal to walk freely in the countryside. In the US the supreme court has actioned the 'right to exclude', this means that walking on someone's private property involves the illegal act of tresspassing.
